Seven vehicles involved in serious accident in Missouri

| Aug 12, 2020 | Uncategorized

Although most people in Missouri are used to seeing minor accidents on the side of the road from time to time, seeing a major accident can be a jarring experience. For those involved, the consequences could be life-altering.

According to reports, that could be the case for those involved in a serious car accident that occurred recently in Monroe County. The reports indicate that the accident in question occurred on July 28 during the tail-end of the morning rush hours. The chain-reaction incident was allegedly caused primarily due to the failure of a 64-year-old tractor-trailer driver to stop in a construction zone on U.S. 24. The semi slammed into another vehicle in the area, a Ford, causing it to leave the roadway and slide into a ditch. The collision also impacted two other vehicles, as well as three other semi-trucks.

The 64-year-old driver of the semi-truck that caused the accident suffered injuries in the crash that were reportedly quite serious. That driver needed to be airlifted from the scene for medical treatment. The driver of the Ford was also injured and needed to be transported for medical treatment as well. Fortunately, the reports indicate that all of the other individuals involved in the multi-car crash did not suffer any injuries.

Help for those injured in a serious accident

Missouri residents who suffer injuries in a vehicle accident of any kind may have legal options to consider. A personal injury claim could result in an award of financial compensation that can help car accident victims pay their medical bills, among other expenses that arise in the aftermath of a serious car accident.
